Video footage depicts a Cincinnati McDonald’s manager throwing a blender violently towards a complaining customer.
The footage has just been released, but the actual incident happened last month at a McDonald’s in Colerain Township, Ohio.
The woman on the receiving end of a large blender, Britany Price, stated that she was making a fast stop at the McDonald’s drive-through to order her children a pair of Happy Meals. Unfortunately, her order was not completed correctly.
She entered the restaurant with her messed up order, leaving her children behind in the car, to hopefully have it corrected.
“I wasn’t the only one that got frustrated, you know, watching the video we see a lot of people that see me and her talking, trying to resolve the issue and they’re like, I’m not dealing with this, you know, they just left, they didn’t even place their order,” Said Price.
As time went by, Price became irritated at how long service was taking. She went out to her vehicle and grabbed the rest of her order, with the intent of bringing it back and asking for a refund.
The situation escalated as Price started throwing bags of food at the manager behind the counter.
In response, the manager grabbed a blender and chucked it at Price — hitting her in the face and knocking her to the ground.
Multiple injuries were suffered by Price, including a shattered cheekbone and nose.
In response to the incident, McDonald’s has released the following statement:
“The safety of our customers and employees is of utmost importance to us. We are looking into this matter and will take the appropriate steps once our investigation is complete.”
